Welcome to my new blog! If you are arriving here for the first time, I’m so glad you are here and hope you take advantage of all the information we have on account schedules, dimensions, and financial setup for Dynamics 365 Business Central.

You may also be visiting here after following me on my prior site, DynamicsNAVFinancials.com. Technology changes all the time, and the Microsoft Dynamics suite of products is no different. I started that blog in 2012 when many Microsoft customers had just started to make the transition from NAV2009 to NAV2013, so most of the material there is shown in the NAV2013 version.

Since that time, we have all progressed from NAV2013 through NAV2018 and now beyond to the now rebranded software Dynamics 365 Business Central. This newest iteration is now “version-less” as Microsoft releases monthly service updates like it does for its other products, so you will see all the material here in that new interface.

We’ve got lots of great account schedule resources here for those of you looking for examples of financial reports to write and formulas to use when looking at those reports in all the many ways we need to properly tell the story of how our businesses are performing.

Over this next year, I am re-releasing my two most popular blog series, re-written for Business Central. Account Schedules 101 and 15 Days of Dimensions will be a great start to understanding these critical foundational concepts to correctly configuring and using this software for your business.

You can also look forward to some new material that I am developing. I have had such a great time learning about the real-world applications of how this software is used in so many companies and cannot wait to continue to share what I have learned with you!
